The role |

As a senior sous chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and ensure excellent results.

Responsibilities include |

  • Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modeling a coaching culture.
  • Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
  • Maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards, understanding financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Building a coaching culture, recruiting, and developing your team, fostering personal and professional growth.
  • Being a proactive problem solver, making quick decisions on your feet.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as head chef or senior sous chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, caring and considerate conversations, supporting your team.
  • Proven ability to uphold food, health, safety standards, and manage financial performance including GP and stock control.
  • Experience managing labor costs and responding to changing demands.
