The role |

As a senior sous chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities include |

• Creating a caring and supportive environment for your team, celebrating successes, nurturing talent, and role modeling a coaching culture.
• Ensuring an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
• Maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards; understanding financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs; proactively spotting opportunities.
• Building a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
• Being a proactive problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

Qualifications and experience |

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a head chef or senior sous chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to have meaningful conversations and support your team.
• Proven ability to ensure food safety and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of financial metrics like gross profit and stock control.
• Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and engage your team.
