As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and deliver excellent results.

What You Need To Do:

• Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to; celebrate successes and nurture talent.
• Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
• Understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs, and proactively spot opportunities for improvement.
• Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development.
• Be a forward-thinking problem solver, capable of quick decision-making.

What We Look For:

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with a caring approach.
• Proven ability to maintain food, health, and safety standards.
• Financial acumen regarding kitchen performance, including GP and stock control.
• Experience managing labour costs and adapting to changing demands.
• Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and respectful environment.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly.
