The role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspiring leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development of your team, drive restaurant performance, and ensure excellent results.

Responsibilities include |

• Creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes, and nurturing talent within your team.
• Ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in dish preparation and team skills.
• Maintaining impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understanding financial metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
• Building a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and development, and fostering personal and professional growth.
• Being a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What we look for |

• Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with your team with care and consideration.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, health standards, and financial management including GP and stock control.
• Ability to manage labour costs and adapt to changing demands.
• Inspirational leadership qualities and a passion for creating an inclusive, respectful environment.
• A forward-thinking approach to problem-solving.
