Job Description

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development to help your team excel, while driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What We Expect From You
  • Focus on creating a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and team training.
  • Maintain impeccable food, health, and safety standards, and understand financial aspects like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Build a coaching culture, working closely with the Head Chef to recruit and develop a strong team.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, able to make quick decisions on your feet.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging in meaningful conversations with your team.
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Financial acumen concerning kitchen performance, including GP and stock management.
  • Ability to manage labor costs effectively and adapt to changing demands.
  • Inspiring leader who motivates and engages their team to grow professionally.
  • Committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace.
  • Forward-thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
