We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic Senior Sous Chef with excellent leadership skills to assist the Head Chef in leading our RenMor kitchen brigade. The RenMor Kitchen provides exceptional food, and our menus change with the seasons, reflecting the best local produce from a small group of trusted suppliers.

Primary responsibilities:

  1. Ensure correct portion control and setup for service in the kitchen.
  2. Ensure all guest requests/food orders are served promptly and efficiently, consistently exceeding expectations.
  3. Help promote and maintain a positive working environment within the kitchen team and other departments.
  4. Maintain regular food stock control, rotation, and daily quality checks.
  5. Deputise in the absence of the Head Chef in aspects related to the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  6. Work well under pressure and have a passion for innovative and exciting menus.
  7. Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions.
  8. Have experience in a similar role within a large kitchen team.
  9. Maintain good relationships with the team and other hotel departments.

Salary and Contract:

This is a full-time, permanent position based on a 48-hour week, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
