NHS Professionals is seeking a Sonographer for the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit (EPAU) at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust in Nuneaton. You will deliver high-quality ultrasound examinations, maintain clear clinical documentation, and report findings to referring clinicians.

You will also supervise and train junior colleagues, contribute to quality improvement, and ensure patient care aligns with professional standards while maintaining ethical practice.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration required.
• Qualification in Medical, Early Pregnancy or Gynecological Ultrasound (DCR/BSc/PGD/MSc).
• Extensive specialist ultrasound experience and ability to work independently.
• Experience in ultrasound reporting and imaging IT systems.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily workload and coordinate appointment requirements within the department.
• Maintain safe, clean and safe equipment, escalating safety concerns as needed.
• Coordinate service planning with relevant teams to optimise resources.
• Accurately record, enter and track information in departmental systems.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
• Contribute to service development by reviewing and implementing processes and patient information resources.
