BPAS in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Sonographer for 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, to perform obstetric dating scans and gynecological scans, including RPOC assessment and second-trimester dating HC measurements.

You will support nurses and midwives, ensure ultrasound service quality, participate in audits, and mentor staff. A Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound is required with at least 1 year post-certification and registration with NMC or HCPC.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate certificate in Medical Ultrasound required.
• Registered with NMC or HCPC.
• Minimum 1 year post-certification experience in ultrasound.

Responsabilités

• Ensure high standards of ultrasound scans are undertaken.
• Support nurses and midwives by providing reassurance and practical advice surrounding Ultrasound scanning.
• Adhere to clinical policies and guidelines at all times.
• Support Lead Sonographer and Ultrasound Facilitators in managing an effective Ultrasound service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ultrasound scanning.
• Assist with DATIX investigations and serious incidents.
