Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineering Manager to lead design and delivery of Contract Logistics solutions across EMEIA. You will analyze client data, craft innovative layouts and automation concepts, and prepare technical content for proposals.

The role requires extensive experience and strong stakeholder collaboration across regions. You will guide teams, build compelling business cases, and ensure solutions meet rigorous safety and operational standards while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain management or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in industrial engineering, warehouse design or Contract Logistics.
• Extensive 3PL, retail distribution, manufacturing, e‑commerce or consumer goods exposure.
• Proven ability to design warehouse layouts and operational workflows.
• Experience developing engineered labour standards and labour models.
• Advanced AutoCAD experience and familiarity with WMS systems.
• Strong cost modelling, TCO and ROI analysis skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience leading cross-country engineering projects and teams.
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering design for strategic Contract Logistics opportunities across EMEIA.
• Analyse customer data to develop innovative, commercially competitive logistics solutions.
• Design warehouse layouts, workflows, and material handling solutions.
• Produce conceptual layouts, process diagrams, and storage strategies.
• Develop resource models and operational costing to support pricing submissions.
• Prepare technical content for customer proposals and solution documentation.
• Support commercial teams during proposals, workshops and reviews.
• Ensure proposed solutions align with customer requirements and Crane standards.
