Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Hyperscale Senior Solutions Engineer in London to act as the technical voice on major hyperscale opportunities. You will translate customer requirements into deliverable solutions and work with customers across Europe and the US, collaborating with engineering and delivery teams to ensure what is sold can be delivered.

The role requires 5+ years in sales engineering and data centre infrastructure, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel across Europe

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales engineering, ideally in hyperscale or managed services.
• 5+ years in data centre infrastructure (power, project delivery or equivalent engineering).
• A mission critical engineering background; this is not an IT or software sales role.
• Strong communication skills, with confidence presenting technical solutions to customers.
• Willing to travel across Europe and the US; hybrid London base.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead on hyperscale customer opportunities.
• Translate customer requirements across power, cooling, density and capacity into practical technical solutions.
• Support the sales process with technical proposals, presentations and customer meetings.
• Work closely with engineering, design and delivery teams to make sure what is sold can be delivered.
• Represent the business technically with hyperscale customers across Europe and the US.

The ideal candidate will turn customer requirements into deliverable solutions, work directly with hyperscale customers across Europe and the US, and collaborate with the engineering and delivery teams who build what is sold.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical lead on hyperscale customer opportunities
