Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Advisory Solutions Consultant to lead the technical aspects of complex UK and Ireland sales cycles. You will collaborate with Account Executives to demonstrate Appian's platform, articulate business value, and co-create solutions that address customer priorities.

You will build prototypes, respond to RFPs, present to executives, and cultivate long-term relationships with technical staff at target accounts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Solutions Consultant or Sales Engineer for enterprise software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Hands-on technical background as Software Engineer or Technical Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Lead all technical aspects of a sales cycle from initial meetings to final presentations.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to meet sales goals in the UK and Ireland (non FSI/public sector).
• Write and organize technical responses for RFPs and formal proposals.
• Build and present PoC applications addressing customer problems.
• Explain technical details and business benefits to executives and stakeholders.
• Represent Appian at industry events, conferences, and seminars.
• Develop long-term relationships with technical staff at target accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather resources to close a deal.
