Job summary

Valtech is seeking a Senior Appian Consultant to join our UK team, helping enterprise clients modernise operations with low-code solutions. You will design and deliver scalable Appian applications, collaborating with strategists, engineers and analysts to translate business requirements into robust, automated platforms.

You’ll guide secure design, contribute to sprint planning, and mentor junior developers while maintaining high delivery quality and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale Appian solutions within complex client environments.
• Strong experience developing Appian applications using Records, Record Types, Relationships, SAIL Interfaces, Process Models, Sites, Reports and CDTs.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, data modelling and enterprise data structures.
• Experience designing integrations using Web APIs and external services, including REST and SOAP-based patterns.
• Experience implementing Appian's security model and managing deployments and release pipelines.
• Experience working within Agile Scrum delivery teams with stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication skills with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and Appian capabilities.

Responsibilities

• You are a hands-on Appian specialist who enjoys solving complex business challenges through modern low-code technology.
• You'll lead the design, configuration and development of enterprise Appian applications, ensuring security, maintainability and best practices.
• You'll contribute throughout the delivery lifecycle from technical design and sprint planning through testing and production support.
• Working with architects, product managers, business analysts and engineering teams to shape technical solutions.
• You'll lead technical discussions with clients, mentoring junior developers and elevating engineering quality.
• You'll contribute to Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, estimation and sprint demonstrations.
• You will maintain delivery quality through reviews, unit testing and deployment management.
