Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive the technology evaluation stage of the enterprise sales process. You will serve as the primary technical advisor and product advocate, shaping Proofs of Concepts and guiding executive buyers through complex architectures.

This remote role offers Field Work travel up to 70%, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and opportunities to influence roadmaps while mentoring peers in a fast‑paced, enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field required.
• 5+ years in solutions consulting, pre-sales, or enterprise architecture roles.
• Strong fluency in REST APIs, SQL and cloud environments.
• Willingness to travel 30–70% as needed for accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical strategy with account executives to meet regional sales goals.
• Architect and deliver high‑quality POCs/POVs for enterprise customers.
• Present complex architectures to C‑level buyers with credibility.
• Drive RFP/RFI responses and align product roadmap with customer needs.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute reusable assets.
• Collaborate with Product Management on real‑world requirements.
