Job summary

BlackLine, a leader in Finance Automation, seeks a Senior Solutions Consultant in a hybrid Birmingham-based role to support UKI prospects across the Invoice to Cash area. You will partner with Sales to uncover client challenges, tailor solution recommendations, and guide deals from first contact to purchase decision.

You will deliver product demonstrations, run ROI analyses, and support RFI/RFP responses, ensuring deliverability with Implementation teams while traveling 15–20% across the UKI.

Qualifications

• Background in pre-sales/solution consulting, or related customer-facing consulting role.
• Experience translating business challenges into tailored solutions and ROI.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to present figures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Own the pre-sales solution-consulting process end to end for UKI opportunities.
• Conduct needs-analysis conversations and translate findings into tailored recommendations.
• Design and deliver product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses with technical accuracy and thoroughness.
• Complete ROI analyses and business cases to support investment decisions.
• Build product/domain expertise through certification and keep pace with roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Implementation/Customer Success to ensure deliverable handoff.
