Job summary

Databricks in London is seeking a Solutions Architect to own the technical strategy for our accounts, guiding architecture discussions and driving platform adoption across data engineering, ML, AI, and real-time analytics.

You will collaborate with customer technical leads and directors, design scalable, production-grade solutions on public clouds, and develop a growing technical specialisation within the team while influencing product direction with structured feedback.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or senior technical roles
• Strong coding in Python and SQL
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture
• Proficiency with the Databricks Platform and developing a technical specialisation
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions with senior technical stakeholders
• Experience with production deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Track record of driving platform adoption and value realization
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for accounts from discovery to production deployment
• Design scalable, production-grade data/ML/real-time analytics solutions
• Lead architecture discussions with senior stakeholders and perform trade‑offs
