Job summary

Matillion is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to join #TeamGreen. You will own the pre-sales lifecycle, qualify complex use cases, run high-stakes trials, and demonstrate how Matillion solves critical data challenges.

You will build customized demos, run workshops, and ensure technical and sales strategies are perfectly aligned. You will drive business value, engage with enterprise customers, and pursue strategic expansions by moving customers into new workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience selling AI and agentic AI solutions (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, n8n).
• Expertise with AWS, Azure or GCP and with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Strong relational/noSQL DB skills and data platforms.
• Proven solution-selling track record with technical objection handling.

Responsibilities

• Own the pre-sales lifecycle from qualification through trials and demos to close.
• Build tailored demos and lead workshops/POCs validating solution fit.
• Align technical teams with sales strategy and credit sizing.
• Cultivate trusted-advisor relationships to ensure rapid customer wins.
• Identify upsell opportunities and expand workloads for maximum ROI.
• Represent the brand at events and produce technical content and case studies.
• Relay customer feedback to Product and Engineering for continuous improvement.
