Job summary

DataVita is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design of complex managed infrastructure and cloud solutions. The role sits between presales, onboarding, and delivery and requires owning engagements from early customer engagement through to delivery handover.

This on-site position is based at Hamilton, with some travel to customer sites and DataVita data centres. You’ll design robust, commercially viable solutions aligned with DataVita platforms while working with Sales, Delivery,

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing infrastructure and cloud solutions in MSP/CSP environments.
• Broad experience across compute, storage, networking, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Owning end-to-end solution design from early engagement to delivery.
• Strong operational and Day-2 considerations with pragmatic tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer design and onboarding workshops to gather requirements.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs and project artefacts.
• Ensure designs align with DataVita service offerings and standards.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Operations through the lifecycle.
• Own design handover to delivery and provide guidance during implementation.
• Work across platform areas: compute, storage, networking, DR, and security.
