Job summary

Armstrong Talent Partners is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design of complex managed infrastructure and cloud solutions for MSP/CSP contexts. This is a customer-facing role bridging presales, onboarding and delivery, owning designs from early engagement through handover, ensuring robustness, commercial viability and alignment with our platforms.

The role is permanent, full-time, on-site at our Hamilton office, with a minimum of three days on-site and occasional travel to

Qualifications

• Significant experience designing infrastructure and cloud solutions in MSP/CSP environments.
• Broad technical experience across compute, storage, networking, backup and disaster recovery.
• Experience owning end-to-end solution design, not just components.
• Strong awareness of operational and Day-2 considerations and balancing tech with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer design and onboarding workshops.
• Translate requirements into architectural solutions and artefacts (HLDs/LLDs).
• Ensure designs align with service offerings and standards.
• Support sales in technical discussions and shape customer solutions within constraints.
• Document assumptions, dependencies and constraints for handover to delivery.
• Work across platform portfolio to align with evolving standards.
