The Role

KPMG Law is seeking an experienced mid-level corporate lawyer to join its growing Northern team, based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will have broad corporate experience across M&A, equity investments, and corporate reorganisations.

The role will involve:

• Providing corporate legal advice on a broad range of client solutions, including establishing corporate structuring and reorganisations, M&A, equity investments, joint ventures, and equity incentive arrangements, on both domestic and cross-border basis.
• Building relationships with other KPMG teams and clients to develop multidisciplinary solutions.
• Leading teams on multidisciplinary projects in the UK and internationally.
• Project managing and driving projects to conclusion.
• Training and mentoring junior team members.

Experience Required:

• English-qualified solicitor with solid UK experience at a reputable firm, or suitable equivalent experience.

• Experience in transactions, supervising and developing junior team members, and project management.
• Experience coordinating advice and legal documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proven ability to handle demanding clients across sectors and scales.
• Client relationship and business development skills, with a desire to enhance these further.

The successful applicant will be responsible for servicing and building the team, participating in events, and giving presentations.
