Job summary

Clifton Search clients seek a UK-based Senior Sole Counsel to lead a newly acquired software/tech arm, reporting to an internationally based CEO. The role is standalone and highly autonomous within a multi-layered organisation with global interactions.

We require a UK-qualified solicitor with senior/lead experience in software, telecoms or media, handling AI/ML regulatory strategy and IP portfolio management.

Qualifications

• UK qualified solicitor with senior/lead experience.
• Extensive experience in software/tech sector.
• Experience with international contracts and cross-border deals.
• Strong negotiation and commercial contract skills.
• Experience in data protection and privacy laws.

Responsibilities

• Full legal leadership for the newly acquired unit.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Lead on international contracts and cross-border issues.
