Job summary

Birchwell Associates Ltd in Weybridge, Surrey is seeking an experienced Senior Solar Solutions Manager to lead the Solar PV and Battery Storage division from survey through to installation and handover.

You will coordinate engineers and subcontractors, review designs and manage projects across London and the South East, maintaining commercial control and ensuring compliance with MCS and BS 7671 standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solar stringing or system design.
• Full electrical qualifications, ideally Gold Card or equivalent.
• Experience delivering solar projects with multi-site coordination.
• Strong commercial awareness of project costs and margins.
• Experience with CRM systems and client liaison.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate Solar PV and Battery Storage installations.
• Support day-to-day running of the solar division with the Technical Director.
• Review surveys, system designs, quotations and project requirements.
• Organise engineers, subcontractors, materials and access equipment.
• Manage project programmes, costs and profitability.
• Review installation quality and resolve technical/delivery issues.
• Manage DNO applications, commissioning info and handover docs.
• Ensure projects meet MCS, BS 7671 and company standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and progress inspections.
• Manage several live projects and priorities.
• Support growth of the Solar PV and Battery Storage division.
