Job summary

Optima is recruiting an experienced Senior Solar Solutions Manager for a growing renewable energy business operating predominantly across London and the Southeast, including Weybridge. This role sits within the Solar PV and Battery Storage division and works with the Technical Director to oversee projects from enquiry and site survey through installation, commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Solar PV project delivery.
• Experience with Solar PV and Battery Storage/EESS.
• Strong electrical contracting background.
• Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines.
• Familiar with solar design and monitoring platforms.
• Understanding of project costs and commercial margins.

Responsibilities

• Support the Technical Director with day-to-day running of the Solar and Battery Storage division.
• Plan, coordinate and manage Solar PV and Battery Storage installs.
• Review site surveys, designs, quotations and project requirements.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, labour, materials and access equipment.
• Manage multiple projects and ensure programmes and deadlines are met.
• Monitor costs, budgets and profitability; flag issues early.
