Are you a qualified electrician with a passion for renewable energy? We're looking for a Senior Solar Electrician to join our fast-growing and forward-thinking team.
What You'll BringRecognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification (as listed in the August 2023 EAS Qualifications Guide), such as:
NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Systems or Services (C&G 2357 / 2356 / EAL equivalent)
Installation Electrician / Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship (AM2S/AM2D)
ECS Gold Card – Installation Electrician (preferred) or Maintenance Electrician with suitable qualifications
BS 7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (e.g., City & Guilds 2391-50 / 2391-52 or EAL equivalent)
Battery Storage Qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, EAL, or manufacturer training) – preferred
Solar PV experience (minimum 2 years) – essential
Experience with battery storage systems (e.g., Tesla Powerwall, GivEnergy, SolarEdge) – highly desirable
Strong inspection, testing, and commissioning skills
Full UK driving licence
Lead and carry out installations of solar PV and battery storage systems
Conduct inspections, testing, and certifications of new installations
Mentor junior electricians and ensure high standards on every job
Liaise with clients and project managers to deliver projects on time and within scope
Maintain up-to-date CPD and support compliance with industry standards
