Job summary

Rivan Industries, a London-based synthetic fuel company, seeks an expert in UK planning and permitting to drive large-scale solar projects from planning through consent. The role is based at our Bermondsey HQ with extensive relocation support and significant share options for early team members.

You will lead land rights, permits, and stakeholder engagement across the UK, coordinating with the Deployment Team to ensure successful project delivery in a rapidly scaling portfolio.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years professional experience.
• Experience with the planning process across the UK.
• Ideally, MRTPI Accredited.
• Bachelor's or Masters degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Secure land rights and permits for new pipeline connections.
• Oversee early stage pre-application planning work, including feasibility studies and EIA screening.
• Coordinate TCPA planning applications and social engagement with local stakeholders.
• Discharge planning conditions and manage post-consent amendments with Deployment Team.
• Respond to planning consultations which could affect Rivan.
