Job summary

Rivan Industries invites a Deployment Project Engineer to take our first commercial project from design to gas flowing into the grid. You will coordinate engineers, contractors and external stakeholders, and shape the deployment blueprint for scale.

Based at our London HQ with on-site work across the UK, you’ll manage budgets, procurement and CDM compliance while building a repeatable deployment playbook for future projects.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a large, complex project end to end.
• An engineering background, degree or equivalent.
• Understand structural, electrical and process drawings and know which questions to ask.
• Reason from first principles and challenge the status quo.
• Commercially sharp with quotes and scoping to avoid creep.
• Align incentives to keep external parties to timeline and budget.
• Comfortable running several workstreams between HQ and project sites.

Responsibilities

• Take Rivan's projects from a permitted field to gas flowing into the grid, on programme and on budget.
• Coordinate and influence the design and installation of deployment packages (solar, power, groundworks, pipelines, connections).
• Manage the programme and relationships with gas networks, landowners, authorities, suppliers and teams.
• Handle procurement and contracts, choose contractors, set terms.
• Track budgets and schedule variations; flag risks.
• Coordinate pre-construction and construction with CDM and UK health & safety regs.
• Build the deployment playbook to enable scalable deployment.
