Job summary

Rivan Industries is seeking a Senior Power System Engineer to lead the design of >1MW solar arrays and power distribution for its DC solar platform in London.

You will ensure direct integration with a DC electrolyser and a thermal reactor, design combiner boxes, cable layouts, and optimise solar array costs, while modelling configurations for scalable deployment. Relocation support is provided, along with private health insurance and generous time off.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in solar power systems or related field.
• Experience certifying solar array and combiner panels to BS & IEC standards.
• Ability to model configurations for scalable deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design >1MW solar array and power distribution.
• Integrate with DC electrolyser and thermal reactor.
• Integrate with a high-power inverter for AC distribution.
• Design and optimise combiner boxes.
• Cable layout, sizing and containment designs.
• Solar array cost optimisation.
• Model different configurations and assembly methods.
