Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking a Senior role to drive UK&I development. You will autonomously manage a pipeline from early stage to financial close, ensuring bankability and alignment with targets. You will shape processes to improve efficiency, productivity and competitive edge.

You will lead cross‑functional collaboration with planning, legal, commercial engineering, procurement and grid teams, negotiating terms to secure project finance and commercial success for Lightsource bp.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solar development lifecycle and land rights agreements.
• Understanding of UK grid and DNO relationships.
• Familiarity with project finance terms and financial modelling.
• Strong written and verbal English; renewables industry awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and close transactions, coordinating multiple workstreams.
• Manage stakeholder relationships for land rights, permits, and PPAs.
• Lead meetings and communications to ensure efficiency.
• Prepare and negotiate financial terms to meet margins.
