Job summary

Mint Selection is seeking a Senior Development Manager in London for a hybrid role overseeing end-to-end development of solar and battery storage projects across the UK. You will manage land, planning, grid and consenting, and own key decisions to move schemes from origination to shovel-ready status.

The role requires a proven track record in renewable energy project development in the UK, with strong NSIP/DCO and land/grid experience, and excellent stakeholder engagement to support investment

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering renewable energy projects in the UK (solar, BESS or wind).
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and NSIP/DCO or large-scale consenting.
• Commercial understanding of land, grid, and project value/risk.
• Experience leading multiple live projects with external consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of solar and battery storage projects from site identification through to consent and financial close.
• Oversee the full consenting process, including NSIP/DCO schemes, coordinating planners, enviro/tech consultants.
• Arrange land and grid connection agreements, maintaining programme and budget.
• Present projects to landowners, communities, local authorities and investment committees.
