Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Senior Software Cybersecurity Engineer to analyze designs and implementations, identify vulnerabilities, and remediate across the SDLC. You will lead threat modeling, risk assessments, audits, and architecture reviews with a focus on cloud and container environments.

You will manage IAM and key controls, support engineering with security requirements, perform code reviews, and act as SME for compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Security/Application Engineering; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Leadership: proven track record in leading process change and mentoring on secure-by-design principles.
• Cloud & container security: strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes and container image lifecycles.
• AppSec & DevSecOps: understanding of STRIDE/PASTA, IAM, cryptography, web/network protocols, and CI/CD tooling.
• Software engineering: hands-on development in Go and C#.
• Standards & frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, OWASP ASVS/Testing Guides.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software designs to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across SDLC, security design and implementation.
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, audits, and architecture reviews focused on cloud and container environments.
• Manage Key Management and IAM controls; define security requirements to meet compliance standards.
• Perform security code reviews and act as SME for engineering and compliance teams.
• Deploy and manage automated security tools within CI/CD (SCA/SBOM, SAST, DAST, Secret Scanning) and conduct manual testing.
