Job summary

Artificial is seeking a senior security professional to join our product and platform teams. You will work hands-on with engineers to embed security by design and set the standards that shape how we build security into our software.

You’ll own secure development standards, run threat modelling on the highest-risk work, and direct cloud security, identity, vulnerability management and data protection. You’ll raise security awareness across engineering and product teams so decisions are made

Qualifications

• Extensive senior or principal security architecture experience.
• Expertise in cloud security, identity, encryption and data protection.
• Strong background in secure software development and threat modelling.

Responsibilities

• Give engineers practical, hands-on security advice throughout the development lifecycle.
• Own secure development and coding standards and coordinate penetration testing.
• Run threat modelling on high-risk work and train teams to do it themselves.
• Set security guardrails for our cloud environment, including access control and encryption.
• Define vulnerability severity criteria and remediation priorities.
• Design identity and privileged access management, including strong authentication.
