Job summary

Motorola Solutions UK Limited is seeking a Senior Software Cybersecurity Engineer to assess designs and implementations, identifying vulnerabilities across the SDLC and guiding remediation in cloud and container environments. The role is hybrid with two days per week in Uxbridge or Edinburgh.

You will lead threat modeling, IAM controls, and security testing (SCA/SBOM, SAST, DAST) within CI/CD pipelines, and drive remediation across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Security/Application Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cloud and container security.
• Hands-on development in Go and C#.
• Threat modeling (STRIDE/PASTA) and IAM.
• Familiarity with SCA/SAST/DAST in CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Security design and implementation in cloud and container environments.
• Manage Key Management and IAM controls.
• Define security requirements to meet compliance standards.
• Perform security code reviews as SME for engineering/compliance teams.
• Deploy and manage SCA/SBOM, SAST, DAST in CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive vulnerability management for Kubernetes and container images.
• Incident response and post-incident analysis and runbooks.
