Job summary

Oxford Instruments Andor in Belfast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Software Applications team. You will design, develop and support customer-facing Windows desktop applications used to control scientific instrumentation, primarily with C# and .NET, delivering robust software across multiple products.

You will work in an Agile environment, contribute to architecture, reviews, and automation, and collaborate with hardware, test, product managers and domain experts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Hands-on with C# and .NET for desktop apps.
• Experience with Agile teams and full SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain and support Windows desktop applications with C#/.NET.
• Contribute to multiple products within the Software Applications portfolio.
• Interface software with scientific instrumentation and hardware for control and automation.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture decisions.
