Job summary

Oxford Instruments Andor is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the Software and Driver Development Team in Belfast. You will work on software and driver development, extend the product portfolio, and contribute to requirements management with support for customers and manufacturing.

The role is permanent with a hybrid working model at our Belfast headquarters, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering/Physics or equivalent relevant qualification OR equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Software developer role.
• Proficient at scripting and programming.
• Experience in the product development lifecycle from requirements gathering to test and support.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and drivers within the Software and Driver Development Team to extend Andor’s product portfolio.

We are hiring for a Senior Software Developer who will work within the Software and Driver Development Team, extending and enhancing Andor’s innovative scientific product portfolio. The role spans software and driver development, product requirements management, and support for customers and manufacturing.

The Senior Software Developer Will Have

• BSc/BEng qualification in Electrical and Electronic/Software Engineering/Physics or equivalent relevant qualification OR equivalent relevant experience
