Ellison Institute of Technology invites applications for a Senior Software Engineer to join the SciComp team. You will build robust, scalable software powering our scientific initiatives and contribute to the full software lifecycle, ensuring a reliable, modular, and high‑quality stack.

Competenze

• MSc or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Extensive experience as a Software Engineer with Python in production-grade distributed systems.
• Experience designing and exposing functionality via clean APIs (REST, gRPC).
• Proven CI/CD pipelines experience and reproducible development workflows.
• Strong ability to communicate design and engineering practices to multi-disciplinary teams.

Mansioni

• Design and build robust services (APIs/CLI/tools) powering scientific applications.
• Bridge components, integrating ML inference servers, hardware interfaces, and data pipelines.
