Ellison Institute, LLC seeks an experienced Data Engineer to join the Scientific Compute and Data team. You will help build the data layer powering autonomous experiments, enabling edge-to-cloud ingestion and multimodal data pipelines that accelerate discovery.

You work alongside AI researchers, software engineers and roboticists to ensure robust, scalable data systems with attention to provenance, schema design and rapid prototyping.

Qualificações

• Strong programming experience in Python; code quality and reliability.
• Owns end-to-end systems from device output to APIs.
• Experience with real-time data streaming.
• Reproducibility, version control and data lineage are essential.
• Clear communicator across interdisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build high-throughput ingestion for live video, telemetry, and sensors.
• Integrate edge-to-cloud stack and APIs for scientists and ML pipelines.
• Turn streams into structured transactions and build knowledge graphs.
• Make output model-ready for training and evaluation.
