Job summary

Capitolis in London is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable, secure Java-based solutions and drive architectural decisions across the P.O products. You will work with product managers and R&D to implement roadmap features using Spring Boot, Docker, and cloud services.

The ideal candidate has a strong computer science background, 8+ years in server-side development, and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, SW Engineering or equivalent (M.Sc. is an advantage).
• At least 8 years of experience in Java server-side development, including cloud services (AWS).
• Experience with C# and .NET.
• Experience building complex, large-scale software solutions from scratch to live production.
• Proficiency in Java stack: Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Swagger, Maven, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, Git, RESTful Services, Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design software according to agreed standards, architecture, and requirements.
• Plan and build high quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Work closely with team lead, team members and product managers in defining and implementing roadmap features.
• Contribute and drive technological and architectural decisions.
• Interface with various R&D groups, as well as support groups.
