Cloudbeds seeks a Staff Software Engineer for Revenue Intelligence to shape tech strategy and lead cross-functional delivery of pricing, demand insights, and reporting platforms. You will guide architecture, build data pipelines, and collaborate with product and security teams while staying hands-on in code and reviews.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure systems, strong ownership, and mentoring within a globally distributed, remote team across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership across complex production systems.
• Deep hands-on Python expertise guiding engineering decisions beyond a single language.
• Strong architecture and distributed-systems fundamentals for APIs, event-driven services, and data pipelines.
• Experience with data-intensive systems like PostgreSQL/Redshift and large-scale data processing.
• Cloud engineering with AWS, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Argo CD, and secure production ops.
• Proven ability to lead through influence, align teams, and drive decisions from ambiguity to execution.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve the technical strategy for Revenue Intelligence.
• Lead design and delivery of capabilities across web apps, APIs, data pipelines, and storage.
• Identify and resolve risks in scalability, reliability, security and data quality.
• Modernize legacy systems with incremental migrations preserving production stability.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Infrastructure, Security to define platform direction.
• Remain hands-on in code, reviews, debugging, and incident response.
• Mentor engineers, provide architecture guidance, and raise engineering standards.
