Job summary

Cloudbeds is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for Revenue Intelligence to shape architecture and lead delivery across apps, data pipelines, and cloud services. You will mentor teams while directly contributing to critical systems for pricing, demand insights, and reporting in a fully remote setup.

You bring 10+ years, strong Python and distributed systems skills, and a track record of system modernization, security, and scalable design.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with technical leadership.
• Deep hands-on Python across ecosystems.
• Strong architecture and distributed-systems fundamentals.
• Experience with data-intensive systems (PostgreSQL/Redshift).
• Cloud and platform engineering experience (AWS, containers, CI/CD).
• Ability to lead through influence in a remote, distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Set and evolve the technical strategy for Revenue Intelligence.
• Lead design and delivery across web apps, APIs, data pipelines and workflows.
• Identify and resolve scalability, reliability, security, and data quality risks.
• Drive modernization of legacy systems with careful migrations.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, Infrastructure and Security to align direction.
• Remain hands-on in the codebase with spikes, reviews, debugging and incidents.
• Raise engineering effectiveness through mentoring and standards.
