Job summary

Atlassian Williams F1 Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Software Development group. You will build bespoke, high-quality software that supports Engineering and Operations, including real-time race data and performance analysis.

You will work across a diverse software estate with a stack including C# and C++, React, Python analytics, and backend C#. Modernisation efforts include cloud-native tech and data platforms.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field involving software development.
• Strong experience in one or more of C#, Go, Java, C++, Python, or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with source control tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
• Collaborative problem-solving with clear communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand the needs of diverse users across Williams Racing and translate them into technical specs.
• Develop, implement, and maintain innovative software solutions with the Software Development team.
• Improve existing systems for reliability, performance and adaptability.
• Collaborate with other tech groups to enhance data platform services.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices.
