Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Software Engineering and Data team. You’ll work with design, performance and race engineers, owning work from initial conversations through release and beyond, across multiple systems and domains.

You will design, implement and maintain high-quality code in C#/.NET, build web services, and collaborate with users to redefine workflows while leveraging AI-assisted tools and strong testing practices.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial experience developing in C# and .NET.
• Experience building web services (gRPC, REST) and working with relational databases (SQL Server).
• Knowledge of software design patterns and when to use them.
• Full development lifecycle experience from requirements to support.
• Strong debugging and production support skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, including user docs.
• Degree in CS/Software Eng or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with users to understand workflows and translate them into tasks.
• Design solutions that fit existing architecture without over-engineering.
• Write high-quality, testable code and provide constructive reviews.
• Release features with testing, documentation, and monitoring.
• Maintain and evolve existing systems while building new ones.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools and evaluate produced code to standards.
