Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in London invites a Senior Software Engineer to join the Public Cloud Engineering IAM team. You will design and deliver secure, scalable platform services across AWS, Azure, and GCP within an agile environment.

You will write production code, review designs, and contribute to automation, testing, and cloud-native practices, upholding engineering standards and collaborating across global teams.

Qualifications

• Loves coding and follows industry best practices
• Open to using AI tooling where helpful and applying judgement where not
• Willing to learn TDD/BDD and automation as part of engineering discipline
• Experience with Java, Spring, Go, Python and IAC like Terraform, Kubernetes is desirable
• Hands-on cloud-native experience on at least one major provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Curious, innovative, and capable of working across teams
• Strong communication skills tailored to the audience

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions and technical troubleshooting with non-routine approaches
• Writes, reviews, and maintains production code across stacks and ensures quality
• Produces architecture/design artifacts for complex applications
• Develops visualizations/reports from large data sets for continuous improvement
• Identifies hidden problems in data and improves code hygiene and system design
• Contributes to engineering communities and practices
