Perk, a global platform for travel and spend management, seeks a Senior Software Engineer who will own features end-to-end, influence technical directions, and collaborate with product and design to deliver impact for thousands of users daily. You will work in small squads, shape architectural decisions, mentor peers, and uphold engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Translating business goals into technical roadmaps and de-risking ambiguous projects.
• Designing scalable, evolvable systems with long-term maintenance in mind.
• Upholding engineering standards, CI/CD, testing strategies, and clean code practices.
• Establishing frontend architecture patterns, performance budgets, and comprehensive testing.
• Engineering sophisticated backend solutions including API versioning and data migrations.
• Leading observability, SRE practices, defining SLOs, and incident response handling.
• Overseeing security/risk to ensure hardened production environments.
• Mentoring engineers, performing reviews, and raising the bar across the team.
• Coordinating multi-team deliverables and aligning stakeholders to unblock blockers.
• Interest in AI-augmented workflows and leveraging AI for development tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of features from discovery to deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional squads, product, and design teams.
• Define technical debt and investment priorities for the roadmap.
