Job summary

Perk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will own features end-to-end, from understanding customer pains to deployment and impact measurement. You’ll influence architecture, drive technical standards, and mentor others while collaborating with Product and Engineering Managers.

You’ll work in a cross-functional squad, owning a slice of Perk’s domains with autonomy and responsibility, contributing to Perk’s goals and product roadmap. This is a hybrid role based near our hubs.

Qualifications

• Translates complex business goals into technical roadmaps and de-risks ambiguous projects.
• Architects scalable systems and data models for performance and long-term maintenance.
• Defines and upholds engineering standards including CI/CD and testing strategies.
• Establishes frontend architecture patterns and testing (E2E/Cypress).
• Delivers sophisticated backend solutions with API versioning and data migrations.
• Leads observability, SRE practices, and incident management.
• Oversees operational security, secrets hygiene, and dependency risk management.
• Mentors and elevates the engineering team through reviews and design discussions.
• Coordinates multi-team deliverables and aligns stakeholders to unblock work.
