Job summary

Mongoose Gray is recruiting a Senior Software Engineer in London for a hypergrowth SaaS scaleup. The role focuses on engineering-first delivery, SRE excellence, and scalable cloud systems with equity. Hybrid working in London is offered and you will collaborate closely with the Head of Engineering on technical strategy.

You will mentor engineers, design secure architectures, and drive data pipelines while leveraging LLMs to enable autonomous workflows and robust production systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Engineering on technical strategy and architecture decisions.
• Mentor a small team of accomplished engineers.
• Build and maintain highly secure, performant and scalable systems.
• Nurture and oversee reliable data pipelines by Data Engineering.
• Get close to the product to inform decisions.
• Implement microservices on the Cloud, GCP preferred.
• Design, build, and operate production systems that leverage LLMs as reasoning engines.
• Orchestrate multi-step agentic workflows to complete tasks autonomously.
