Job summary

Morgan Hunt seeks a Senior Software Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role is hybrid with one onsite day per week in London, Cardiff or Glasgow, contributing to the development and delivery of digital services.

You will work in an agile, multidisciplinary team, helping drive CI/CD, automation and modern engineering practices using .NET technologies in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Microsoft Software Developer in complex, stakeholder-driven environments.
• Hands-on development with CI/CD, automation, and TDD.
• Knowledge of relational database design and unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (Azure) and Docker.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and version control (Git, Azure DevOps).

£600-£650 per day (Inside IR35)

A leading governing body is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support the development and delivery of key digital services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, agile environment, contributing to the design, development, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

The Role

You will play a key role in developing and supporting applications aligned to business requirements, working within multidisciplinary agile teams. Alongside hands-on development, you'll contribute to technical decision-making, help introduce new technologies, and drive improvements in engineering practices such as CI/CD and automation.
