Job summary

Hunter Bond in London is seeking a Senior Developer (C#/.NET) with leadership experience to join a high-performing tech team delivering enterprise applications. This is a hands-on Technical Lead role blending coding, design and delivery oversight across strategic initiatives.

You will lead the design of scalable .NET services, mentor developers and implement modern architecture, APIs and CI/CD practices in a collaborative hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of C#/.NET experience
• Proven experience leading dev teams or tech workstreams
• Strong knowledge of solution architecture, microservices and APIs

Location: London (Hybrid)

Rate: Up To £800 Per Day

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior .NET Technical Lead to join a high-performing technology team delivering business-critical enterprise applications. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining software engineering, technical design and delivery oversight across a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives. You'll work with modern technologies in a collaborative environment where engineering quality, innovation and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of scalable .NET applications, APIs and distributed services while remaining hands-on with development.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple workstreams, mentoring developers and driving engineering best practices.
• Design robust, resilient solutions using modern architecture principles, messaging technologies and containerised platforms.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver complex change programmes from design through to production.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience developing applications with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including modern .NET.
• Proven experience leading development teams or technical workstreams while maintaining a hands-on coding role.
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, microservices, APIs, event-driven systems and database design.
• Experience with technologies such as Kubernetes/OpenShift, MongoDB, enterprise messaging platforms and CI/CD practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is an advantage.
