Job summary

GerrardWhite is seeking a Senior .NET Developer on a contract (Inside IR35) to join a high-performing technology team delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions in financial services. The role is remote/hybrid with ability to commute to Cardiff area as required.

You will design, develop, and enhance scalable applications using C# and .NET Core, RESTful APIs, and Azure, collaborating with Agile teams across the full SDLC and contributing to technical architecture and code quality.

Qualifications

• Senior-level .NET and full-stack experience with enterprise-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful architectures and microservices.
• Experience deploying to Azure and managing SQL Server.
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Senior .NET Developer – Contract (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join a high-performing technology team delivering enterprise-scale digital solutions within a financial services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a contractor who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working across modern Microsoft technology stacks.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing scalable applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using .NET technologies
• Contribute to solution design and technical architecture decisions
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performing applications
• Work collaboratively within Agile delivery teams
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET / .NET Core
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
