Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Integrations Team in a fast-moving, remote-friendly environment. You will help Elastic work in AI ecosystems, building the MCP server, agent skills platform, and cross-ecosystem integrations.

You’ll contribute across tooling, libraries, and integrations with Go and Rust, while maintaining a focus on developer experience, code quality, and telemetry.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend and API design skills.
• Experience with Go and Rust is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with MCP, LLMs, agents and telemetry is a plus.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and related infra, mainly in Go.
• Develop platform for universal agent skills and tooling.
• Ensure correctness via evaluations and testing.
• Design integrations with Elastic in third-party AI ecosystems.
• Enhance Elastic CLI for developer efficiency.
• Support libraries, tools, and integrations across the Elastic Stack.
