Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience required.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in multiple data storage subsystems and data modeling.
• Familiar with Agile or Waterfall methodologies and test-driven development.
• Ability to translate user requests into software solutions and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Interface with teammates to finalize requirements and translate them into designs.
• Write and review detailed specifications for complex system components.
• Complete complex bug fixes and optimize code.
• Collaborate across development teams to meet product requirements.
• Implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
• Operate in Agile, Waterfall, and other environments with stakeholders.
• Mentor entry-level software engineers on development methodologies.
• Stay updated on new technology developments.
• Design and work with complex data models.
