Job summary

Qualifications

• 10+ years of commercial software experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or related STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with core stack and strong experience in at least two: Python, TypeScript, relational databases, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, AWS.
• Strong software engineering and DevOps skills (CI/CD, version control, containerisation, cloud deployment).
• Proven ability to work in a remote-first, iterative agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development, testing, and maintenance of Oxfida projects, products, and initiatives.
• Build robust, maintainable software and infrastructure using React, TS, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and partners to understand requirements and priorities.
• Mentor other engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical, data, and integration issues during development and deployment.
• Improve internal tooling, engineering standards, and deployment practices across Oxfida.
• Communicate trade-offs, risks, and progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead a team of engineers as a Technical Lead when needed; line management duties as required.
